BAD SKIN AND A RETURNED CLARISONIC PLUS

I bought a Clarisonic Plus at Nordstrom a few months ago, and I eagerly began to use it. I was aware of and prepared for the "purge" breakout, and wasn't especially surprised when it appeared. I was, however, surprised that it stayed for two+ months.

To be completely honest, that is why I haven't been posting as much as I would like, or posting ANY videos. My skin is by far the worst it has ever been, and for no reason I can think of. Yes, I have been stressed, but I have been eating well and taking care of my skin. I have been far more stressed than this before with no bad skin reactions.

Because of this, I'm returning the Clarisonic. I am not 100% sure that it is causing my breakouts, and if I return it and my skin does not improve, then I will go to a dermatologist to get it sorted out and will repurchase.

Has anyone else experienced this? The Clarisonic is the only thing that I have added to my skin care routine, and it is the only thing my boyfriend and I can think might be causing this. The hilarious part is that, since we have cleaned up our diet, his skin (which was always far worse than mine) is completely clear.

WELEDA SKIN FOOD: A REVIEW

I have dry skin due to the nature of my job. I'm constantly washing and sanitizing my hands in an attempt to ward off illness (people come into the store and will literally cough all over you with no attempt to cover their mouths.) My hands have a tendency to get so dry that my knuckles will crack, bleed, and become completely raw.

I have heard some really wonderful things about Weleda's Skin Food, and when I found it at a local health food store, I had to try it. It was rather expensive ($15, if I recall) but I am typically willing to spend a bit more for something that works.

It works, but I ended up giving it away. Why? It smells TERRIBLE. I'm okay with naturally scented/herbally products (I use Philosophy Hope in a Jar every day) but this was just overwhelming. I made the mistake of using it in class the first time around, and one of my closest classmates turned to me and asked what died (he is ex-military, so really, if he is complaining about a fragrance you know it is bad.)

My mum didn't mind the scent so much as I do, so I passed it off to her. I have a very sensitive nose, and I'm not going to force myself to smell something nasty if I don't have to.
