I have to admit, I was quite surprised by some people's reactions to her death. The tragedy in Norway is horrific. Completely and utterly disgusting. But this woman was a human being. Enormously talented, and yes, she was troubled. It may have been an overdose, yes. But it could have been something else. If her addiction is what led to her death, it is still a tragedy. Drug addiction is not easy to break, and it seemed like she wanted to get better.
This woman was loved. This woman was a human being, and what people are saying about her is sad.
Show respect for the living by respecting the dead.
